A little bit about me huh? 

I’m a native Coloradoan from Denver, (as you read my stuff you’ll realize that I will make up words if necessary). But what is it about the world of sports that interests me so much? Well to put it simply is that it’s real.  The sports world has a Superman(John Elway), It has an Aquaman(Micheal Phelps). It even has a joker(Manny Ramirez). It’s larger than life people that can do physical acts that a normal human can’t. The movies have special effects. The theatre is acting like other people. Sports is what you can push your body to do. Sports brings people together (Olympics, World Cup, etc). If your wondering, yes I do have a big problem with steroids. Because steroids are what takes away the trust that the public has with the teams or players or Leagues. 

Why so serious you ask? Because people live and die with their teams, Just look at Red Sox fans. 80 plus years? The fact is with sports you can root for either side of an issue(game), and be surrounded by fans, not agendas. There is a common goal. Winning. Republicans and Democrats alike. Every race and nationality. I’ll get off of my soapbox. I won’t be that serious all of the time I promise. I just wanted to give you a little insight into what is going on in my size 8 1/4 hat sized head. So remember if you want a different take on the goings-on in the sports world. Stop by uncut-sports at least once a week to read my column. Why SO SERIOUS?

 

What is it about sports that hooked me? 

  It’s the high that you get from your team winning or a dramatic finish to a sporting event that I live for.
