I quickly wanted to put up a post and first and foremost, Thank all of you for following, reading, liking, hating and contributing to my blog.  I just surpassed the 20,000 hit mark!  Your support means a lot to me, and to those of you who recommended and voted for my NASCAR post as the “Sports Blog Post of The Year”, I do appreciate it greatly!

Moving forward, it has come to my attention that one Dino Costa at www.denversportsradio.com has been slandering me all about the airwaves and in what used to be the chat room since my resignation from DSR.  I understand from several people, both inside and outside the organization, that he’s said things like “DJ was too big headed” and that “I wasn’t that good, nor was I that important to the DSR team” and then outright lying by saying that “I was fired”.  Well, let me assure you Sports-Uncut fans and readers, I was NOT fired, I actually resigned my position live on air just before the top of 11:00 hour on Friday June 12, 2009.  Not to metion, the fact all of you regularly tuned in was a big indicator of what I was about at DSR.

I resigned my position for several reasons. Firstly, Dino pretty much accused me of being the person going into the DSR chat blasting Bobby and JR, which is absolutely ridiculous as I have a real career to keep up with.  I don’t have time to do something as pointless and stupid as that, besides me calling anyone else pathetic is basically the pot calling the kettle black, as I KNOW I’m not the next Jim Rome or something.  Anyway, he also accused me of having knowledge of who the phantom poster known only as “The Giver of Truth” was and knowing that he was posting derogatory remarks about Dino on the Colorado Biz Magazine article written about Dino and DSR, which can be seen here. Enjoy the read while you can, because something tells me Dino will have all the derogatory remarks removed as soon as possible.  But, the real reason I left was this: Dino called me, and I apologize for the language, “a slimeball son of a bitch” a “dirty mother fucker” and a “Fuck Up” several times for accidentally standing up an 8-1/2″ X 11″ prop up sign in the studio that promotes another show.  Simple, honest mistake and he unleashed a profanity laced tirade, the likes of which I have NEVER been on the receiving end of, and THAT’S why I walked away.  And believe me, I walked away, I wasn’t fired.

Now, to Dino, I would just ask that instead of making personal attacks on me you focus your attention on that enterprise, which is floundering greatly under your watch in DSR, and try to make it work.  Becuase honestly, for all the negatives I could say about you, I can only compliment the fact that you’re trying to compete with FM 104.3 The Fan.  So, worry less about me, and worry more about your job/gig.  Besides Dino, I don’t need to insult you on this forum, there’s plenty of easily accessible information about who you are and what you are for people to read.

In closing, let me just say this I took some time away from this at the end of last year as I was burned out and also just feeling like I has lost my motivation to say what I thought.  Not to mention, sometimes you get so busy you have to many things to do and not enough time to do them in.  I have a baby girl on the way, due here in about a month or so, but I would like to let you all know that I will be back, and I’ll be back with a new motivation and desire.  Being told you suck tends to make you want to be better!
